Located at the core of Ballantyne, North Carolina, our shop offers easy access to significant local attractions such as The Ballantyne, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Charlotte, Ballantyne Country Club, Cullman Park, Downtown Ballantyne, and Ballantyne Village, RC Auto Finish is ready to remove scratches and swirl marks from your vehicle with our paint correction services.
To get straight to the point, the term paint correction shouldn’t be over complicated like other detail shops will make it out to be. Simply put it is the process of removing scratches and refining your vehicle's paintwork to keep it healthy and in pristine condition. For less than 2% of the cost of the average new car, you can restore your vehicle to its former glory. It’s all the same excitement, feeling and look of a brand new car without the massive financial investment. So what are the steps involved in having this service completed you might ask?
Before we begin, our team will perform not only our complimentary 19-point inspection but also a comprehensive examination of your vehicle's paintwork. This helps us ensure we can safely polish your paint while achieving the specific results you've communicated during your initial consultation.
This step is crucial in the paint correction process. Regardless of regular professional car washing, your vehicle may still have embedded contamination that isn't immediately apparent to the naked eye. These could include concealed rust deposits, residual car wax, dried chemical stains, and various other substances. To eliminate these, our team employs a variety of chemicals and tools, such as bug removers, rust removers, tar removers, and a clay bar, ensuring that the surface is entirely free of contaminates before we move forward.
With hundreds of paint compounding and polishing detail products available on the market, not every option is going to be suitable for your vehicle. To achieve the ultimate level of refinement, we dedicate time to testing and fine-tuning several combinations to find the perfect match for your vehicle.
With the vehicle inspection complete, paintwork decontaminated, and our polish and compound products select, its time to begin reworking your paint. Our team carefully paint corrects each panel one by one anywhere from 1-3 passes per panel to help you achieve that perfect crystal clear finish.
Before we return your vehicle to you, we want to ensure your going to be satisfied with the results. Our team will perform a comprehensive re-inspection of the entire vehicle, top to bottom, to ensure that we have fulfilled your expectations. We aim for your return visits to be based on your satisfaction with our service, rather than any dissatisfaction with the work performed. If for some reason you are ever un satisfied when coming to pick up your vehicle, we will do what it takes to make it right.
RC Auto Finish LLC was originally started in Richmond, Virginia by Quincy Rollins. The business was started as a mobile detailing company with nothing more than a $500 budget and his personal vehicle. Eventually, this led to a full-service center operation that for years supported its local community, consulted with other aspiring shops, and provided enthusiasts with the highest level of craftsmanship and service in the area. After feeling the negative business impacts of COVID-19, Quincy relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, to rebuild the business. Quincy says that the Charlotte community has been extremely supportive of RC Auto Finish LLC's new path, and he looks forward to fostering new client relationships and providing the area with a garage that they can rely on for years to come.
